The Veterans Day 2015 freebies on Wednesday will include a variety of participating establishments offering free meals. There will also be ongoing sales and deals in stores or online not only in conjunction with the observed holiday, but also because of the early start for Black Friday shopping in November. We’ve rounded up a look at what’s going on and what sorts of deals or incentives you can check out for the Veterans Day holiday. Keep in mind some may require wearing your uniform or having some sort of proof of service with you.

On Wednesday, November 11th is the Veterans Day holiday. Several websites have ongoing sales going on with discounts or savings deals for the day or until supplies last of select items. These are mostly daily deals sales or early Black Friday sales.

Veterans Day Restaurant Freebies:

Applebee’s will have seven different entrees to choose from for a free meal for those with military ID or proof of service. Beverage and gratuity are not included.

Buffalo’s Cafe is also offering free meals at participating locations.

California Pizza Kitchen is offering a pizza, full size salad or pasta from their special “Veterans Day Menu.” You’ll need to wear your uniform or bring some sort of proof of service to qualify for this free meal.

Chili’s has a free meal for all past and present veterans. This includes choice of a lunch combo or a dinner meal from their select menu. Beverages and gratuity aren’t included. Proof of military service is necessary.

Golden Corral is offering a free meal from 5pm to 9pm for any person who has ever served in the U.S. military. This is the 15th annual Golden Corral Military Appreciation Dinner.

Little Caesar’s Pizza is offering a free pizza or $5 hot-n-ready lunch combo for all US Armed Forces veterans or active service military members. The deal runs between 11a.m. and 2 p.m. You’ll want to call ahead and bring a proof of military service to participating locations.

Olive Garden has a free entree on November 11th. Proof of service is required. Also, all guests dining with a veteran receive 10% off their bills.

Outback Steakhouse has a free Blooming’ Onion and non-alcoholic beverage for all military personnel who present an ID. They will also be offering 15% off your purchase from Nov. 12 to Dec. 31 of this year.

Red Lobster offers a free appetizer or dessert during the week of Veterans Day for anyone with proof of service.

Red Robin gives veterans a free Red’s Tavern Double and Bottomless Steak Fries for all those who present proof of service.

Texas Roadhouse has free lunch for all men and women of the armed forces. This includes a choice of one of their 10 free meals plus sides and a soft drink, coffee or tea. An ID is required.

T.G.I. Friday’s will have a free lunch for all current military members and veterans between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. with a valid proof of service or ID. This is good only at participating locations.
