Easter Recipe for How to Make Deviled Eggs

The most necessary Easter recipe is one for how to make deviled eggs. With all the colored Easter eggs people dye for the festivities and hunts, there are plenty of hard boiled eggs left. What are you going to do with them? An obvious idea is to make some of the deviled eggs.

While it can seem a little intimidating to make this popular Easter recipe, they really can be quite simple to make. While there are so many ways to spice up these tasty treats, the recipe below is a classic, easy deviled egg recipe. You can easily double or triple the amounts if you have lots of leftover Easter eggs.  They make great snacks or additions to other recipes for the spring holiday.

Easy Deviled Eggs Recipe
6 hard-boiled eggs
¼ cup Light Mayonnaise
½ tsp dry mustard
½ tsp vinegar (white)
1/8 tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
Paprika (optional)

Directions: Peel and cut eggs lengthwise. Remove the egg yolks. Mash with a fork.  Stir in mayonnaise, mustard powder, vinegar, salt and pepper making sure to completely mix. Take filling mixture, and refill the empty eggs whites. Sprinkle with paprika if you desire.

Cover the deviled eggs with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for as long as one day before serving.
