Walmart’s early Black Friday deals for 2015 continue to sell online for customers ahead of the bigger sell expected within the next few weeks. Right now, it appears one item is a clear winner in terms of those early sales deals: Apple iPad Mini 2. The popular 16 gigabyte tablet is leading the way in terms of electronics items on Walmart’s website, thanks to reduced pricing. Will this be the hot tech gift of 2015, or will another item in Walmart’s sale surpass it?
The iPad Mini 2 tablet is currently selling for $199 on Walmart and ranks #1 in electronics on the website. It’s currently available in two color choices: Space Gray or White. The tablet features 16GB of onboard storage, a 7.9-inch retina display, front and back cameras and an A7 chip with M7 motion coprocessor, making it one of the best tablets in the category. While it isn’t the newest technology necessarily, it outdoes most of the competition and with a lowered priced of $199, it makes a smart gift for anyone who can use a nicely-sized tablet with plenty of power and a great display.
Walmart offers customers free “value” shipping or standard shipping for $4.97 which gets it to most destinations about a day earlier than the free choice. They also offer free in-store pickup for most stores, but customers will need to check their local stores with the website to make sure.
Remember that Walmart’s bigger Black Friday sale comes on Thanksgiving Day starting at 6 p.m. in stores. Among their early sales deals will be a 50-inch Class HDTV for $269, a 40-inch Class HDTV for $149, RCA 7-inch Voyager II Android ad-free tablets for $28.88, a TCL 32-inch Roku Smart TV for $125 and popular Xbox One video games for as low as $27. The online sale will take place all day starting Thursday, so customers may be able to find even more iPad deals on the website then.
