The Walmart Black Friday ad 2013 edition is one that many shoppers are watching for to see when it’s leaked online. Walmart is known for leaking the sales ads themselves, right ahead of the Black Friday shopping day. In fact, they leaked their Walmart Black Friday sales for 2012 about two weeks early. Many are expecting something similar to happen for this holiday shopping season. So when will the 2013 Walmart Black Friday ad leak?
Walmart’s Black Friday ad leaked in 2012, two weeks ahead of the actual shopping day. The reason behind this was so the retailer could attract more eyeballs to their sales flyer in anticipation of the shopping day. That would give customers more time to plan out what deals they wanted to try to get their hands on. It also gave more time to think about that big purchase one might want to make on something like an iPad or a television set.
The Black Friday shopping date fell on November 23 back in 2012, with the date falling six days later in 2013 on the 29th. In 2012, the Walmart Black Friday ad was “leaked” online for shoppers on November 8th, giving them two whole weeks to peruse the various sale prices and deals on electronics, toys, clothing, household items and more. Some of the top deals in 2012 included savings on the Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 video game systems, a deal involving the full-sized iPad Mini, a low-priced LG Blu-ray player and discounted prices on certain television sets. Some of the TV’s offered were as big as 60″ for the sets. What will Walmart put in this year’s 2013 Black Friday Walmart ad to top these deals?
All that said, it’s believed that this year, Walmart’s 2013 Black Friday ad and sales flyer will be leaked online by November 14th. That’s two weeks ahead of Thanksgiving Day, and a day over two weeks ahead of the big shopping day. However, Walmart may be opening earlier to get more customers inside their stores. They may also offer special “cyber deals” online to really attract shoppers.
The Black Friday sales and deals used to start at Walmart retail stores at about 6 a.m. in the morning on Black Friday. However, since then, Walmart opened at midnight one year, and now stores are opening even earlier. Some are opening as early as 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Will Walmart follow suit and try to get customers inside for deals, sales and doorbusters even earlier?
Stay tuned as we’ll have information on the leaked Walmart Black Friday ad 2013 edition as soon as it arrives online for holiday shoppers!
